2022 Stimulus Check payments: Do you qualify to be part of the group receiving checks in January?
The global pandemic seems destined to make us all experience another year with restrictions and stimulus checks have been life savers for many American families. During the month of January, many will get this benefit once again in order to help them control their finances and their way of life. There are countless citizens who are in dire need of economic aid due to the monthly expenses they need to cover on a constant basis. With the Omicron variant surging in the United States of America, there are constant reminders that this virus isn’t leaving for the forseeable future.
Fears of infection during the winter is looming over every household in America and these stimulus checks will literally save countless lives. It is expected that during the month of January, many Americans could be in danger of losing their jobs due to this surge of the new variant. It is expected that the United States Government rolls out more stimulus checks that can provide the necessary protections for those affected by the new wave of the pandemic. It’s not yet certain that levels of unemployment will increase but the country needs to be ready for anything.
Who will qualify for a possible January stimulus check?
The federal government will likely still offer stimulus checks in the month of January to select workers and states have used a number of their federal relief to offer teacher bonuses. Mainly frontline workers of any walk of life, some even offer stimulus checks to state residents who meet the income requirements. Another eligible group are babies who were born in 2021. These are the most recent Americans who qualify for payments of up to $1,400 from that third and possibly final round of checks that will be given in the month of March. In order to qualify for the complete amount, your household needs to meet the income requirements. Remember, it’s $150,000 for married people who file joint or $75,000 for individuals.
