Environment Canada calling for cloudy but mild weekend with showers – Kamloops News


Gloomy weekend ahead

It’s expected to be a gloomy but mild weekend in the Tournament Capital.

After a high of 14 C and mix of sun and clouds on Friday, Environment Canada is forecasting a 30 per cent chance of showers overnight.

Cloudy skies and a high of 14 C is forecasted for Saturday. Overnight, the low is expected to drop only slightly to 12 C, with a 40 per cent chance of showers.

The rain continues on Sunday, with a 70 percent chance of showers showers and high of 16 C.

Sunday night cools off quite a bit, with a low of 2 C.

The gloomy conditions continue into next week. Monday and Tuesday are both expected to be cloudy, with Monday’s high expected to reach 10 C before dropping to 0 C overnight.
