Environment Canada issues fog alert for Edmonton area
It’s not St. John’s, N.L., but who can tell when it gets this hard to see?
A thick fog over central and eastern Alberta has rolled into to Edmonton, St. Albert and Sherwood Park, and may continue to spread overnight, Environment Canada said in a weather alert for the area.
“Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero,” the agency said. “Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.”
