Numerous Storms Struck Central Tennessee leaving the residence with no electricity soon after the strong thunderstorms streamed through the region Sunday mid-day, tearing down trees, high-voltage lines, and even power-line posts.

Close to 100,000 Nashville Electrical Services and more than 11,000 Tennessee customers do not have any electrical power since Monday early morning.

NES classified the interruption as one of the most extensive in the state’s history.

NES pointed out that teams are using bucket vehicles as well as tree-trimmers and are going to carry on operating till electrical power is brought back.

The service is restricting a couple of staff members to a motor vehicle and even staggering exposure periods of workers in order to lessen contact because of COVID-19.
