Drive B.C. is expecting Highway 1 to remain closed until 9:30 this evening.
Their next update will be at 8:00.
ORIGINAL: 3:40 p.m.
Highway 1 is closed in both directions between Revelstoke to and Golden due to a crash, according to DriveBC.
The closure spans more than 140 kilometres between Townley Street and Anderson Road. There is no detour.
An assessment is in progress with the next update from DriveBC expected at 6 p.m.
