In today’s Potter news, Daniel Radcliffe has decided he’s done with the role of Harry Potter, for now. After that 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, the original director Chris Columbus had the idea of adapting the stage play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, into a movie with the original trio. But speaking with the New York Times on whether he’d like to pick up the wand and sorting hat for another round, Radcliffe responded by saying, “I’m getting to a point where I feel like I made it out of Potter OK and I’m really happy with where I am now, and to go back would be such a massive change to my life.” He also said it’s not something he’s interested in doing right now, but to never say never. So Daniel Radcliffe could return to play #HarryPotter at some point in the future, but he’s only 10 years removed from the role of Harry Potter, so he’s in no rush to do so as of now. In other entertainment news, Warner Bros. Animation released and gave us our first look at the upcoming Gremlins animated prequel series, Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai.
